The “ISTA China Transportation Packaging Technology Event – Drop Testing Methods and Applications” was successfully held on December 25, 2024, in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. This event was organized by ISTA China and hosted by Guangdong Labtone Test Equipment Co., Ltd.

The seminar brought together representatives from leading companies, including SGS Testing Laboratory, Intertek Shenzhen, and Hefei Midea Refrigerator Co., Ltd etc. Attendees gathered to explore innovations and applications in packaging drop testing standards and methods.

Experts from organizations such as “Midea” and “SGS” shared insights and engaged in discussions on the significance and methodologies of drop testing. The seminar featured lively Q&A sessions and in-depth exchanges among participants, creating a dynamic atmosphere.

During breaks, guests visited Labtone’s factory workshop to observe the production, assembly, and testing processes of vibration testers, shock testers, and drop testers. In the testing workshop, Mr. Yang, General Manager of Labtone, personally demonstrated and explained the use of vibration and drop testing machines, highlighting their features and functionalities.

The seminar concluded with positive feedback from attendees, who expressed appreciation for the valuable insights gained and hoped for more such events in the future.
